Sarysu Lake Hunting Tour
Sarysu Lake represents one of the important waterfowl hunting areas in Azerbaijan. Covering approximately 65.7 square kilometers across the Imishli and Sabirabad districts, this large freshwater lake and wetland area features extensive reed beds, shallow waters, and open-water habitats.
Located along an important migratory route, Sarysu provides a significant habitat for waterbirds, particularly during the winter season. Large numbers of ducks and other waterbirds can be found in the area, creating an attractive environment for permitted seasonal hunting activities.
What makes this tour special is the combination of outdoor adventure and authentic Azerbaijani countryside hospitality. Instead of staying in conventional hotels, guests stay in local cottages near the wetlands. This convenient arrangement allows hunters to begin their activities early in the morning without a long daily transfer.
The culinary experience is another highlight of the trip. Meals are prepared using fresh local ingredients and may include regional specialties, homemade bread, dairy products, and other traditional dishes. Guests can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the countryside while experiencing local hospitality.

Day 1: Departure from Baku to Imishli
The tour starts with a meeting at your hotel in Baku with a local guide or company representative. After collecting all the luggage and loading it into the vehicle, we will depart for the accommodation area.
As we leave Baku, we will travel along one of the city's main avenues before continuing onto the highway. After reaching the Sarysu Lake area, we will check in to our accommodation in special local cottages.
Dinner will be prepared using fresh local ingredients. The local team will prepare your room before your arrival.
Free time for overnight stay and leisure.
Day 2: First Day of Hunting
The morning starts with a homemade breakfast. A good breakfast is recommended, as you will need plenty of energy for the first day of hunting.
Our local representative will assist with the selection of a hunting shotgun. According to the selected package, one package of ammunition containing 250 cartridges will be provided. Our local hunting team will remain available to assist you throughout the day.
The hunting activity begins after breakfast. A 4x4 vehicle and boat will be available whenever required.
Lunch and dinner will be served in a homestyle setting. The local team will prepare delicious meals using fresh local ingredients and, where permitted and applicable, game obtained during the day's hunt.
Free time for overnight stay and leisure.
Day 3: Second Day of Hunting
Today is the second and final day of hunting. After an organic homemade breakfast, the hunting activity will begin.
The local hunting team and guide will assist you throughout the day, and 4x4 vehicles and boats will be available when required.
Lunch and dinner will be served in a homestyle setting.
Free time for overnight stay and leisure.
Day 4: Departure to Baku
Breakfast at the accommodation.
Check out and depart for Baku.
