It is located in the historic part of Sheki City. It was built in the 18th century and in total covers and area of 6000 square metres. The building materials used were brick and river stone traditional to this region. The caravanserai has three stories, each with their own functions. This monument obviously testifies to the fact that Azerbaijan, and Sheki in particular, played an important role in the trade between East and West and North and South.
